What are you looking forward to most during your reign as Mrs South Africa?

Being crowned Mrs South Africa is a personal achievement.  I really love working with young girls so I will be hosting self-transformation and grooming workshops for disadvantaged  girls preparing them for the outside world and equipping them with skills for job interviews.

My experience as Mrs South Africa has been thrilling thus far; I cannot begin to tell you how spoilt and cared for I feel, with such amazing sponsors - even when I'm travelling and on the move - my hair is always kept looking great with amazing sponsors like Tosca Salon Group in Cape Town. I always get such fabulous blow-dries, so no excuses for bad hair days! But that being said; this is one experience that I don’t take lightly because I am aware of the impact that I can and am willing to make.

How do you prioritise family, work and me time?

I have 2 children, my daughter Samia is 10 and my son Taai is 5 years old. We really are a fun loving family, I love being involved in day to day activities with them, we roller-skate, take walks, go swimming and most importantly we talk and catch up every day. I really feel that’s important as a mother to make time to know and understand what happens in your child’s life, and encourage them to talk and be open. Our lives are organised chaos, and we make it work with a wonderful support structure.

We make time and that’s what’s important, I set date nights or days with my hubby, kids and friends. Our diaries are always changing but we make it work together.

Tell us about your workout routine – do you have any fabulous secrets to share with us?

I really get bored with routine workouts so I love switching up and trying different ways to have fun and keep fit at the same time, I've started boxing about two years ago and will never look back, I try my best to attend boxing classes at least three times a week. There's never any elevator to success so stay focussed eat healthy or make healthier choices and drink loads of water, your skin will love you!

Products I can’t live without:

I love Schwarzkopf Professional Oil Miracle finishing treatment; for healthy shiny hair I usually drench my hair with the treatment overnight and wash it off the next morning.
